Sweet + Savory Cheeseboard for Two

Recipe by: Alyssa Ponticello
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2

  • 2-3 cheeses (aim for at least 1 soft and 1 hard cheese, about 2 ounces of each; for this board, a mini 4 ounces goat cheese log, 2 ounces of manchego and a mini wheel of brie were used)
  • 1 ounce each of 2-3 kinds of meats (prosciutto and salami are great options)
  • Maille Old Style Mustard
  • Maille Cornichons
  • 2 kinds of crackers
  • A handful of Marcona almonds
  • Fresh herbs, for garnish
  • Other savory options include: breadsticks, crostini, tapenade, marinated artichoke hearts, olives
  • A handful of yogurt covered pretzels
  • ½ cup raspberries
  • A handful of red grapes
  • A mix of chocolates, such as salted caramels, truffles and chocolate hearts
  • ¼ cup of pistachios, pecans, hazelnuts or candied nuts
  • A handful of dried figs
  • Other sweet options include: cake bites, cheesecake bites, salted caramels, mini cookies

  1. Select a cheeseboard (or you can use two smaller boards, one for savory and one for sweet). On one side of the board, arrange the cheese, meat and crackers. Add in the jar of Maille Old Style (you can also transfer some to a small dish and just use that on the board instead) and a small dish of Maille Cornichons. Sprinkle marcona almonds to fill in any gaps and garnish with fresh herbs.
  2. On the other side of the board, add the pretzels to one side. Add the raspberries in the middle and the grapes on the other end of the sweet side of the board. Fill in any open spots with nuts, then finish by arranging the chocolates on top. Enjoy!
